A new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, hungry fro success individual to work for a large manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire. This role involves travelling across the UK so you must be flexible to do this – a fully expensed company car, phone, lunch allowance and general expenses are provided.
An outline of you duties are:
• Proactively call current, lapsed and new clients to undertake telephone research to identify their needs on projects that could potentially be addressed by products/services
• Assist these potential clients in understanding how their requirements can be met through the use of the products
• Build a personal trust relationship with potential clients
• Arrange appointments to sell/specify the brand
Reporting to the National Sales Manager the individual will be responsible for the sales of the product range through specifiers, local authorities, housing associations, private developers, contractors, merchants and direct to end users.
Whilst based at our head office in North Yorkshire, you will be part of a team that is tasked to develop and secure sales of our diverse product range across the country. There will be extensive travelling as and when required to meet our customers needs.
You will ideally have experience of construction sales, although this is not essential.
The successful candidate must be computer literate and hold a current clean driving licence.

• To arrange and attend meetings when necessary and where appropriate take minutes.
• To research material for presentations/reports and to prepare audio-visual materials and spreadsheets.
• To progress arrangements relating to all aspects of work.
• To receive and entertain visitors in a hospitable manner, making tea and coffee.
