    This is a varied role working for a company on the outskirts of York. You will help with co-ordinating centre events, developing website and well as handling routine administration tasks.

    - You will fulfil reception and administration duties
    - Responding to email, letter and telephone in person
    - Keeping both paper and electronic filing systems up to date
    - Keeping the website updated
    - Ensure that all events run to the high standard they deliver
    - Liaising with event organisers, suppliers, and businesses
    - Maintaining a database

    The ideal person would have a hands on attitude a good standard of typing and eye for detail and accuracy.

    Salary £12,500 – £15,500 depending on experience
    40 hours a week Monday – Friday however some flexibility on weekends will be needed

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:
    Prestigious consulting group are keen to recruit a part qualified assistant accountant into a newly created role.
    Working on a newly acquired significant subsidiary of the business, you will be responsible for producing the accounts for 7 companies within a £20m turnover division, duties will include:
    Management accounts supporting statements
    Foreign currency management accounts
    Sales analysis by consultant
    Project profitability reporting
    WIP and debt statement reviews
    Balance sheet control account reconciliations
    Accruals and prepayments
    Overhead reconciliations
    Statutory audit work
    Cash flow forecasting
    Budgeting / Forecasting
    Fixed asset control
    Role will suit a part qualified candidate (ACCA / CIMA) or someone who has recently completed their AAT qualification, with some experience of assisting with monthly management accounts

    • Chasing outstanding monies via telephone

    • Liaising with internal and external customers to resolve queries

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    My client has recently purchased a traditional manufacturing business in West Yorkshire and is undergoing a period of significant change. I am looking to recruit an exceptional HR professional with extensive harmonisation, policy writing, staff engagement and Union negotiation experience.

    My client has commissioned a full HR audit and review to highlight areas for change and now needs the right individual to deliver on those recommendations. The role ideally would be 5 days a week on a part time basis so could accommodate school hours but could fit full time hours

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Candidates must have significant evidence of dealing with Unions and negotiations
    • Excellent communications to build relationships and get buy in from all staff
    • Extensive change management experience ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
    • Proven experience of policy writing and policy harmonisation
    • Ideally CIPD qualified or Fellow

    BENEFITS:

    The contract is likely to last at least 6 months but could continue further
    £40K-£50K salary pro rota for part time candidates
